Little Miss Codependent on Theatre 99Why They're Worth Watching: Enter the adult friendly world of Improvisational Theater with performances from The Shock T's, Upright Citizens Brigade’s The Outlook of the Poet, Theatre 99’s Little Miss Codependent and the touring company of Topical Thunder.
The Shock T's The Shock T's are a comedy band out of Chicago, featuring Tim Dunn and Sarah Shockey on vocals, and Tyler Paterson on guitar and vocals. Formed in 2009, they have been making impressions at festivals across the country such as the Charleston and Dallas Comedy Fests. Their style has been compared to Flight of the Concords, Bo Burnham, and the Lonely Island. With catchy riffs and a multitude of styles, the three singers tackle all kinds of topics with honesty.
Outlook of the Poet: Outlook Of The Poet presents an evening of long form improvised comedy. Outlook Of The Poet is a popular fixture at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in New York City and is comprised of three of the theatre’s veteran performers. Over the years they’ve accumulated a strong following and were winners of the annual 3-on-3 tournament. Their signature form is an improvised one-act play.
Topical Thunder:Thomas Dotstry [Improviser, Rapper, and Navy Vet] and John Brennan [Improviser, Off-Broadway Star, and Renaissance Man] make up the comedic team Topical Thunder. These two well-seasoned performers started their partnership at Theater 99 in Charleston, SC. They have trained at Theater 99, Baltimore Improv Group, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Improv Olympic. See them and prepare to have your mind blown and fully understand all of life’s burning questions.
Little Miss Codependent: Jessica Mickey and Brandy Sullivan start with a few questions to the audience and then take you on the trip of a lifetime creating characters and scenes you will never forget.
